This is the story of Delaware’s new Congressman "Sarah" McBride and how his insatiable hunger for attention helped wreak geopolitical havoc.
The turning point occurred when McBride returned to his home state bathed in national transgender glory after a stint at the White House. Up until then Delaware’s political culture had been known for being collaborative, consensual and moderate. All the better to allow its elite to get on with the serious business of making money. McBride would help change that; introducing the toxic bullying of the LGBTQ+ movement.
As the state’s leading trans activist and then as a member of Delaware’s own Senate, McBride championed an ideological self-righteousness the state’s Democratic Party leadership adopted. No opposition was to be brooked. Critics must not only be cancelled…..but crushed.
It was an approach that would backfire disastrously- for the Democrats- when they decided to employ the full might of Delaware’s legal system against Elon Musk. A move that helped set in train the billionaire’s embrace of Donald Trump.
From the resulting catastrophe for the Democrats only one person would walk away unscathed. The man in a dress. A man with a psychological need to be …seen. Be it on television. Be it in the White House. Or in a woman’s bathroom.
