Puberty Blockers: a Paedophile Project?
Don't blame the trans lobby alone for puberty blockers. The drugs are the legacy of toxic ideas that emerged at the birth of the gay rights movement; not least a marked tolerance towards paedophilia.
Stephen Ireland, the founder and CEO of Surrey Pride, who was recently jailed for 24 years for distributing images of child sexual abuse and raping a 12 year old boy was also a passionate exponent of puberty blockers. These two facts are not unconnected. If you get my drift.
When I first suggested more than six years ago that paedophilia might help explain, at least in part, why drugs that keep children’s bodies immature were being so eagerly promoted I tried hard not to over-state the case. Nobody wants to sound like a conspiracy theorist. Even when they suspect there might actually be a conspiracy.
I assumed back then nonces had merely embraced blockers….after the event. In other words they’d noticed the work of Dutch scientists in the 1990s advocating the use of hormones to stop puberty and just leant their support. Why would they look a gift horse in the mouth after all? Especially an underage one.
Now I’ve changed my mind. The more I’ve uncovered the more it seems likely paedophiles did not incidentally benefit from the introduction of blockers but a pro-paedophile culture shaped the project to medicalise adolescents from the start. I don’t mean by this that all the scientists who proposed blockers were themselves paedophiles ….though one or two almost certainly were. More of that later.
Rather, the Dutch research was deeply influenced by a body of pseudo-scientific and markedly pro-paedophile ideas that run like whatever the opposite of a golden thread is all the way from the origins of the gay rights movement ….down to the present day.
This has been a difficult post to write which is why it took me two weeks to complete it. What I have uncovered shocked me so much because I’d seen no hint of it in any of the many accounts of the rise of the gay liberation movement. It does though answer a question that has long bugged me. Why did the gay movement and its LGBTQ+ successor fail repeatedly when it came to child safeguarding? Now I think I finally know the answer.

The story’s pivotal event is a court case which has been almost entirely erased from the official history of gay rights. And no wonder. The accused, who raped and tried to castrate two boys, cited in his defence the founding text of gay liberation.
The text he quoted is still celebrated today even though its disturbing content should have been disavowed long ago. That’s because it argued homosexuals and paedophiles were brothers in arms….
