Stonewall's Cop Coup Backfires
Throwing lesbians off a Pride March is just the latest evidence Stonewall's relentless capture of the cops has come back to haunt the gay community.
It wasn't supposed to be like this, was it? Lesbians in Cardiff being thrown off Pride….by rainbow flag-waving cops.
The events in Cardiff and then in Lincoln, where cops danced a macarena they’d carefully rehearsed between not investigating burglaries, are only the most startling recent examples of how the police are being used to promulgate the new LGBTQ+ orthodoxy. This despite the fact the gender identity theories at the heart of that orthodoxy negate same-sex attraction.
Every few weeks it seems someone gets a knock on the door as part of an investigation of a so-called “hate crime” or “non crime hate incident” merely because they’ve acknowledged biological reality and refuse to validate some idiot’s delusion they are living in another person’s body. I’ve asked to live inside Ryan Gosling’s body….but he refuses to let me… the bigot.
Two years ago when I criticised the fact that Chiyo Gomez, a profoundly disturbed biological female (or so s/he said him/herself) was a finalist in the Mr Gay UK contest I was assailed by wokerati who threatened to report me for a hate crime. I rather liked the idea of asking the cops to read Chiyo’s ridiculous posts complaining about the difficulty of being in gay men’s spaces while menstruating. Chiyo can pass for a gay man….if you’ve never seen one. Or when you say gay man you think of a slasher movie.
How did we get to this point where lesbians who don’t like penis and gay men who aren’t exactly hungry for vagina are threatened with being reported for hate crimes or being removed from what was once the annual celebration of same-sex attraction?
There’s something of the Greek tragedy about this story with the gay movement cast as the unfortunate hero cursed with flaws that turn out to be his undoing: utter certainty, self-righteous moral superiority and those old mainstays of Greek myth: ambition and greed.
Hubris. It’ll get you in the end.
