There is only one convincing explanation why LGBT Youth Scotland has never been held to account for its child abuse scandals. Our political and cultural elite did everything they could to enable them.
Gender identity ideology is the direct descendant of John Money and Queer Theory. It isn’t just that it attracts paedophiles and predators, these people believe in destruction of all sexual boundaries, they believe in the sexualisation of children as being a good thing. It’s no good rooting out a few ‘bad apples’, the entire edifice needs to come tumbling down. And that won’t happen under Labour.
Thank you thank you thank you Malcolm. I continue to be astonished by how little our elected *actually* care about children allowing their pride and ego to keep them in harms way.
Thanks!! The politicians that said all these absurd and dangerously foolish things in 2005...have probably learned their lesson. It's the new ones effectively giving predators the same sort of free pass now that are the problem.
Bravo Malcolm. A other horror story to work through today but so pleased you get down to the all important nitty gritty in these cases, so nitpick away and never apologise for doing so. How will it all end...
Thanks. I thought I'd done my research into LGBT Y Scotland and yet.....turns out there was more. The things that's most worrying about the story is that it was only accidentally found. How many other creepy organisations that go into schools have a similar agenda? I think we know the answer to that. Lots.
Brilliant ,but mind boggling ,article ,Malcolm. Reading this makes me feel sick and I cannot ,for the life of me,understand why politicians and the MSM have not been held to account over their enabling of this abuse ,both by their lack of scrutiny, and the failure of journalism to investigate this and other" charities"!! Thanks ,Malcolm
I suppose the thing about the other charities is ....none of them will make the same mistakes that Rennie and Strachan made. So the journalists have less to go on. At least now there is a cadre of good journalists willing to call out the terrible materials they put into schools etc.
the lack of any kind of inquiry, public or otherwise, into LGBTYS still shocks me 15 years on. I remember this case so vividly and the sheer horror of it will never diminish. There's still time for the Scottish Government and the National Lottery etc to put this right... *hollow laugh*
Amazing detective work, Malcolm. Surely LGBTYS have lost their funding by now!!??
I think the only conclusion can be that no outside organisations should be allowed into schools- how can the school be satisfied that proper safeguarding has been applied?
BBC Children in Need continued to fund LGBTYS and only recently stopped that!!
Thanks. Rosie Millard is a good egg. She had concerns but her excutive wanted their funds to wiother on the vine rather than take a stand. The Easton case appears to have strengthened her hand. Why though did C i N ever think this organisation should be funded??
These articles should be re printed across MSM. We do at least have the Telegraph and S Post. About time the others took their thumbs out of their butts and gave Malcolm a "proper" job 👏
The blind refusal to consider that anyone of a 'minority' sexual orientation or fictional 'gender identity' might possibly have malign character traits or intentions runs much broader and deeper than charities and politics. It is society-wide, particularly amongst younger people, I think. The celebration of anyone these days labelled 'queer' blends into a misguided belief that aspects of selfhood such as orientation and identity are some sort of commendable character trait. For instance, I have pals who have desperately clung to their asserted notion that any harm done to women, children, campaigners or others cannot possibly have been committed by 'trans' people - "it's just the activists". This is evidently not the case.
As regards the poiticians quoted in the 2005 debate, what came to my mind were the political figures and other celebrities featured on Brass Eye, proclaiming and declaiming on the likes of Cake, heavy electricity, etc. It leads one to ask: how often is it that our elected representatives pronounce with emotive assurance on things which they know little or nothing about?

Absolutely!
Thanks to the work of people like you, more people will get a glimpse behind the glitter and rainbows. 👏

Yep. I share your hollow laugh. Chance would be a fine thing!
Agreed should be public inquiry!
Yep. If only.
Incredible piece , a just can’t put down article for everyone to read
Thank you. Glad I got you to read the whole way through dad :) x

(Andrew Easton was the chubby kid on the end? He'd lost weight by the time the purple haired picture had come out, I'm assuming...)
Amazing work Malcolm.
Astonishing, both for your digging & that this is not mainstream news- your Peter Tatchell piece more recently, too.
Thank you so much.

Whenever it's considered bigoted to suspect someome and they can use their identity as an invisibility shield...we're in trouble.
